The US president has called Cole Allen a \u201csick man\u201d who hates Christians<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>The armed man who breached security at a press dinner attended by US President Donald Trump detailed his motives in a manifesto, naming US officials as targets \u201cprioritized from highest-ranking to lowest.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The attacker, identified as 31-year-old California teacher Cole Allen, sent a note to relatives around ten minutes before Saturday\u2019s attack at the White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner at the Washington Hilton in Washington, according to the New York Post, which first published the text.<\/p>\n

In the 1,052-word manifesto, signed Cole \u2018coldForce\u2019 \u2018Friendly Federal Assassin\u2019 Allen, the suspect described himself as a \u201chalf-black, half-white\u201d<\/em> American citizen and framed his actions as a matter of personal responsibility to hold the government accountable.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,\u201d<\/em> he wrote, identifying Trump administration officials \u2013 explicitly excluding FBI Director Kash Patel \u2013 as targets \u201cprioritized from highest-ranking to lowest.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Although Allen said he aimed to minimize casualties among security personnel, hotel staff, and guests by \u201cusing buckshot,\u201d<\/em> he admitted that he \u201cwould still go through most everyone here to get to the targets if it were absolutely necessary,\u201d<\/em> arguing that those attending the event were \u201ccomplicit\u201d<\/em> by choice.<\/p>\n

Referring repeatedly to his supposed Christian faith, the gunman went on to address anticipated criticism of his actions with a list of \u201crebuttals.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cTurning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I\u2019m not the person raped in a detention camp. I\u2019m not the fisherman executed without trial. I\u2019m not a schoolkid blown up or a child starved or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration,\u201d<\/em> Allen wrote, in apparent reference to grievances including strikes on Venezuela-linked boats, the US attack on an Iranian girls\u2019 school, immigration enforcement, and the Jeffrey Epstein case.<\/p>\n
