The Iranian foreign minister is on a tour to \u201ccoordinate\u201d with partners in Pakistan, Oman, and Russia<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Tehran has denied that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi\u2019s trip to Islamabad will include new talks with Washington, pushing back on reports that US President Donald Trump is dispatching envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Pakistan to restart negotiations.<\/p>\n

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0in a post on X early Saturday morning that\u00a0\u201cno meeting is planned to take place between Iran and the US\u201d<\/em> during the visit and that Tehran\u2019s views would instead be conveyed to Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Araghchi himself said he was embarking on a \u201ctimely tour\u201d<\/em> of Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow in order to \u201cclosely coordinate\u201d<\/em> with partners on bilateral issues and consult on regional developments. Iranian state media said the three-leg trip is part of Tehran\u2019s ongoing diplomatic effort to secure an end to US-Israeli aggression.<\/p>\n
