He added Brussels was preparing for <em>\u201cworst-case scenarios\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201clooking at all possibilities,\u201d<\/em> including releasing strategic oil reserves and possibly rationing jet fuel or diesel.<br \/><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cStill only warnings, NO REAL FIXES,\u201d<\/em> Dmitriev, who serves as President Vladimir Putin\u2019s special envoy for investment and economic cooperation, wrote on X on Friday.<br \/><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEU warns 15 YEARS TOO LATE it is not prepared for a \u2018long-lasting energy shock.\u2019 EU failed to diversify energy flows, guided by Russophobic, Green, and woke ideology,\u201d<\/em> he added.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udea8EU warns 15 YEARS TOO LATE it is not prepared for a \u201clong-lasting energy shock.\u201d EU failed to diversify energy flows, guided by Russophobic, Green, and woke ideology.<\/p>\n<p>Still only warnings, NO REAL FIXES. The US and <em>\u201cother partners\u201d<\/em> will provide additional supplies, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Brussels will also phase out Russian pipeline gas imports by autumn 2027. Russia still accounted for an estimated 13% of total EU gas imports in 2025, according to official data.<\/p>\n<p>President Vladimir Putin warned last month that Russia may withdraw from the EU gas market and redirect its supplies to <em>\u201cemerging markets\u201d<\/em> without waiting for Brussels\u2019 ban to take effect.
